Telepathe / Katie Stelmanis
(pronounced telepathy) are ex WIKKID members Busy Gangnes and Melissa Livaudais. Melissa was also guitarist in FIRST NATION and Busy was in BLOODLINES. We jumped at the opportunity to book these guys purely on the strength of the singles ‘I Can't Stand It’ and ‘Chrome's on It,’ which display the two distinct sides of the synth-heavy avant-pop approach of this Brooklyn duo. Kick ass experimental noise-pop tunes heavy on the electronics and ritualistic percussion that put other bands’ material to shame. Hands down.
